hi. my name is .... well let's just call me your favourite raging desi bisexual feminist (i admit that's quite a mouthful, but i'm sure you'll get used to it soon enough).

i guess this is my introduction – i’m a 16 year old bisexual desi feminist (i think you gathered that from my ‘name’), i’m from london, i'm a pisces and my favourite food are waffles. and i guess this all started, because i wanted to make a difference.

like most other gen z teens, right now in 2020, i felt helpless. i feel helpless. helpless, with everything that is going on in the world. all the injustices occurring in the world, the inequality and corruption. the endless political feuds and people turning against each other. the millions of people suffering under tyranny and dictatorship; held in concentration camps – getting tortured, while other people sat back with this knowledge, doing nothing.

i feel – helpless. helpless that i can't do anything. and this… well it really sucks.

so i guess i’m ready to do something about it.

i’m really bad at expressing my emotions as it is anyway (years of unresolved daddy issues i guess), but i think now is the time to express my views and spread information and connect with like-minded people over issues that we all feel passionate about. i think it is finally time to spread our thoughts and expose the way society works and thinks.

i think it’s time for me to make a change

i’m still not completely sure how this thing will work. i definitely want to get political. it is definitely a strong belief of mine that politics is an integral part of our society- if you are ‘not interested in politics as it doesn’t affect you’, think again. politics is the study of human power and you want to comprehend the world, if you want to do good, and if you want to have an impression on the future, then you cannot afford to overlook politics. you cannot afford to overlook power, as politics impacts everything (woah i went off on a little rant, i guess you can tell i’m a politics student).

however, i don’t want this to be primarily a political news blog. i want to help change lives through advice and talking about issues that are perhaps not as widely discussed due to the stigma or embarrassment. i want to help spread awareness about the big things that are going on in the world, but i also want to help with the small personal experiences that we all face.

i guess i just want to talk.

talk about life, society and everything in between.

as talking is something we all have in common and helps us connect as human beings.

so yeah i guess this is my introduction.

i think it’s time to get started.
